Page Title Graphic: Work Incentives Implementation Task Force

Mission

The Task Force on Work Incentives Implementation was formed in the wake of the passage of PL 106-170, the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act [TTWWIIA]. The goal of TTWWIIA is to broaden choice of vocational rehabilation options for Social Security disability beneficiaries, to assure adequate and affordable health care coverage for beneficiaries who return to work and to alleviate other barriers to employment for SSDI and SSI recipients. The task force monitors and works with agencies and Congressional committees responsible for the implementation of TTWWIIA to ensure that the law's intent is met.
